mission

No More Tears is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping men, women and children universally. To achieve this mission, No More Tears has partnered with a select group of non-profits whose missions range from fighting the AIDS epidemic, providing business opportunities for the worlds impoverished, medication to the needy, and economic restructuring.  The underlying principle is always the same — to help.

No More Tears is partially funded by So-Me, a Socially Conscious Clothing company, uniquely aimed at intellectualizing fashion while not losing its stylish edge.  The primary focus of So-Me is to raise awareness about human rights issues and take a stand against injustice universally.

Matthew Shepard Foundation

The Matthew Shepard Foundation is dedicated to erasing hate through education, advocacy and awareness. We are the voice for inclusive hate crimes legislation and work to empower and ensure the safety of LGBTQ and Allied youth.  The Foundation was founded by Dennis and Judy Shepard in memory of their 21-year-old son, Matthew, who was murdered in an anti-gay hate crime in Wyoming in October 1998.

The Smile Train

The Smile Train provides free cleft surgery for millions of poor children in developing countries. Also provides free cleft-related training for doctors and medical professionals. Until there are no more children who need help and have completely eradicated the problem of clefts.

Opportunity International

Opportunity International's mission is to provide opportunities for people in chronic poverty to transform their lives. Their strategy is to create jobs, stimulate small businesses, and strengthen communities among the poor.

Keep A Child Alive

Keep A Child Alive is an urgent response to the AIDS pandemic ravaging Africa. With more than 28 million already dead, the disease continues, wiping out whole societies, threatening economic infrastructure and creating tragic devastation in the family structure. Our work makes it possible for children and families to obtain life-saving AIDS drugs and support for survival, where without it, they would die.

Keep a Child Alive gives 100% of donations to our cause.

about
somy aliAs the founder of both No More Tears and So-Me Designs, Somy Ali draws upon her firsthand experience of living in Pakistan until 8 years of age and working as a Bollywood movie actress in India during her young adult years. She understands firsthand the abuse and lack of essential rights women and children
are subjected to.

Consequently today, after a successful university career, Somy Ali has evolved into a US based human rights advocate and documentary film maker, who is both passionate about educating the public, and working to help solve these complex global issues. Or as she says herself, "We must do something to help those that are less fortunate than we are - even if that means helping just one child, one woman or one man. I refuse to be aware of all the injustices and suffering in our world and do nothing about it. Apathy is completely unacceptable to me."
